Awesome Agents ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website awesomeagents.ai (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and what rights you have regarding your information.
1. What We Do
Awesome Agents is a static informational website that publishes news, reviews, guides, and podcast content about artificial intelligence and AI agents. We do not require user accounts, do not operate a login system, and do not maintain a user database.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Analytics (Consent-Based)
We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how visitors interact with the Site - which pages are popular, where visitors come from, and how they navigate. Google Analytics collects:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring URL and search terms
- General geographic location (country/city level, not precise)
- Browser type, operating system, and device category
- A randomly generated client identifier stored in a cookie
Google Analytics only loads if you explicitly consent through our cookie banner. If you do not consent, no analytics data is collected. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site, which will re-display the consent prompt.

2.2 Newsletter
We offer an optional email newsletter powered by Buttondown (Buttondown, LLC), an external newsletter service. If you choose to subscribe, you provide your email address, which is sent directly to Buttondown and stored on their servers. We use your email address solely to send you our newsletter. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party.

2.3 Contact Form
Our contact page uses Formspree (Formspree, Inc.) to process form submissions. When you submit a message, your email address and message text are sent directly to Formspree, which forwards them to us via email. We do not store contact form submissions beyond our email inbox. 2.4 Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie (consent-settings) to remember your cookie consent preference. This cookie:
- Expires after 31 days
- Is set with
SameSite=LaxandSecureattributes - Contains only your consent choice (accepted or declined)
- Is not used for tracking or profiling
If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics may set additional cookies as described in Google's Cookie Policy.
2.5 Embedded Content
Some articles may contain embedded content from third parties (e.g., tweets from X/Twitter). When you view a page with embedded content, the third-party provider may set their own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policies. We do not control this data collection.
2.6 Search
Our site search redirects queries to Google Search (scoped to awesomeagents.ai). When you use the search function, your query is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Google API Services
We use the YouTube Data API v3 to publish podcast episodes to our YouTube channel. This usage is limited to uploading content to our own channel and does not access, collect, or process any YouTube user data, Google user data, or viewer information.
Our use of the YouTube Data API is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google APIs Terms of Service. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to these policies, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- Data accessed: We use OAuth 2.0 credentials to authenticate with our own YouTube channel. We do not access any other user's Google account data.
- Data usage: YouTube API access is used exclusively to upload video files, set video metadata (title, description, tags, thumbnail), and manage our own channel content.
- Data sharing: We do not share any Google user data with third parties. No Google user data is collected through our use of the YouTube API.
- Data storage: OAuth credentials (client ID, client secret, and refresh token) are stored securely as environment variables on our server and are never exposed in client-side code or public repositories.
- Data retention and deletion: We do not retain any Google user data beyond our own OAuth credentials. If you believe we have inadvertently collected your data, you may contact us at the address below to request deletion.
You can revoke our application's access to Google services at any time via your Google Account Permissions page.

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with the third-party service providers described above (Google Analytics, Buttondown, Formspree), solely for the purposes stated, and subject to their respective privacy policies.
5. Data Storage and Protection
Awesome Agents is a static website hosted on secure infrastructure. We do not operate a database or store personal user data on our servers. All user data (newsletter subscriptions, contact form submissions, analytics) is processed and stored by the respective third-party services listed above, each of which maintains their own security practices.
Our OAuth credentials for third-party APIs are stored as environment variables and are never committed to public code repositories.
6. Data Retention and Deletion

7. Your Rights

- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time

8. Children's Privacy
Our Site is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Our third-party service providers (Google, Buttondown, Formspree) may process data in the United States or other countries. By using the Site, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your own.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
