Introducing the Awesome Agents Podcast: AI News You Can Listen To, Now on Spotify

TL;DR

  • Awesome Agents now has a podcast - two hosts break down the biggest AI stories of the day in five-minute episodes
  • New episodes drop alongside every major article published on the site
  • Listen and subscribe now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or via the RSS feed

We built Awesome Agents because AI moves too fast for anyone to keep up by reading alone. But reading is still reading. Sometimes you want to absorb the news while commuting, cooking, or walking the dog.

Starting today, every major story we publish comes with a companion podcast episode. Two hosts. Five minutes. No filler.

Meet the Hosts

Alex Rivera is the curious generalist. He asks the questions you are actually thinking and pushes for clear explanations over jargon. Before joining Awesome Agents, he hosted "The Signal," a tech podcast with over two million downloads in its final season.

Maya Chen is the technical analyst. She holds a Master's in Computer Science from Stanford and spent three years at a frontier AI lab before turning to journalism. When Alex asks "why does this matter," Maya answers with the architecture diagrams and benchmark numbers to back it up.

Together, they turn dense AI news into a conversation that is technical enough to be useful and accessible enough that you do not need a PhD to follow along.

What to Expect

Every episode follows the same format: Alex and Maya discuss one article from the site in depth. They cover the key facts, unpack what matters, and give you the context you need to understand the story - all in about five minutes.

No ads. No sponsorships. No filler segments. Just the story.

New episodes publish alongside articles. If we cover a story, you can listen to it.

Why a Podcast

Not everyone processes information best by reading. Audio is a different medium with different strengths. A five-minute conversation can convey the weight of a market crash or the excitement of a breakthrough in ways that text sometimes cannot. Hearing two people discuss the implications of a cybersecurity selloff hits differently than reading bullet points about it.

We wanted to give you another way to stay on top of what is happening in AI - one that fits into the parts of your day when you cannot sit down and read.

The first episode is already live, covering Anthropic's Claude Code Security announcement and the billions it wiped off cybersecurity stocks in a single afternoon.
